Our story<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Ten years ago, a couple passionate about nature and tranquility, Andr\u00e9 and C\u00e9dric, decided to leave the city to reconnect with their family roots in the Vosges. They bought three old stone houses that once served as outbuildings of a now-abandoned textile factory, full of charm despite their condition.\n\nAfter several years of renovation, with the help of local craftsmen, the couple now wishes to open the doors of their homes to welcome travelers in search of authenticity, peace, a return to their roots, and a discovery of the Lorraine region\u2019s heritage and local traditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le gite \u00ab\u00a0chez DD\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong>named as a reference to the diminutive of Andr\u00e9, or for some to \u201cD\u00e9veloppement Durable\u201d (sustainable development), the property is set in a lush, green environment surrounding the estate. It offers carefully decorated guest rooms, where each space reflects a spirit of simplicity and authenticity.\n\nBreakfast will be prepared with local products, and guests will be able to enjoy a garden, an orchard, a swimming pool, and a private terrace, creating a friendly and peaceful atmosphere.\n\nTravelers are also welcome to bring their pets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our reception<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Guests passing through, whether for a weekend or a holiday, are always welcomed like friends, and many will be able to return year after year. It is in this warm and friendly atmosphere that Andr\u00e9 and C\u00e9dric are making their dream a reality: offering a peaceful and beautiful escape in the heart of the Vosges countryside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our activities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Our guests will even have the opportunity to discover fishing techniques, and more specifically trout fishing, along more than 50 km of rivers and five ponds located just five minutes away. They can also explore cycling routes via the bike path from Senones to Saint-Di\u00e9, passing through the Route of the Three Abbeys, or discover the world of beekeeping. Guided visits of the town of Senones are also available, organized by the local tourist office. They will also have the opportunity to learn about beekeeping with our hives on site. In season, they can enjoy making delicious fruit tarts using produce from the orchard, or discover local recipes such as potato pancakes called va\u00fbtes, Lorraine p\u00e2t\u00e9, quiche Lorraine, or even Alsatian specialties like tarte flamb\u00e9e, as well as dishes made with ingredients directly harvested from the garden.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
